Spring Cloud Contract is coming out of the Spring Cloud release trains, including ones already in production. Marcin isn't just the maintainer, he originally designed and built the project, and has carried the architectural context for it since 2016. That's the difference between a community handoff and a real continuation: the person who knows why every non-obvious decision was made is the one leading the migration path forward.
