Stubborn Contract is sustainable by design. The open-source core remains available to the community. Organizations that depend on the project in production can become Enterprise Partners to help fund its long-term evolution.
The open-source core remains available
The contract-testing core and Stubborn Broker OSS are licensed under Apache 2.0 and stay available to the community, free to use, modify, and deploy.
Community contributions are welcome
Issues, pull requests, and discussion are open to anyone. See CONTRIBUTING.md in the repository for how to get involved.
Pace follows funding, not the other way around
Community development is paced to what can be maintained responsibly around a full-time job, rather than promising a cadence the project can't sustain. Larger efforts, including the first Stubborn-branded release, migration tooling, and dedicated features, move faster when organizations that rely on the project in production fund them through Enterprise Partnerships.
Decisions are made by the project maintainer
Marcin Grzejszczak, one of the project's original creators, makes final decisions, informed by community needs and Enterprise Partner priorities.
No public SLA for free support
Community usage is supported on a best-effort basis through GitHub issues. Organizations that need guaranteed response times and direct support do so through an Enterprise Partnership.
